On March 19th, 2025, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 12th Street and South Marion Road for a larceny.  The investigation found that two unknown suspects had entered the parking lot of the business on March 9th and stole a 2025 Kubota Z232 mower.   On March 16th, two unknown suspects entered the parking lot and stole a 2025 Kubota Z252 mower.   The total loss is approximately $12,500. On March 4, 2025, Sioux Falls Police responded to a park near East 24th Street and South Bruce Road for a burglary.  The investigation found that an unknown suspect had entered a garage in the park.  Once inside, the unknown suspect stole a maroon E-Z-GO golf cart and a set of speakers.  The value of items taken is approximately $3800.00. On February 26, 2025, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 85th Street and South Minnesota Avenue for a robbery.  The investigation found that an unknown subject had entered the business and selected a bicycle.  The subject then attempted to exit the store without paying.  When an employee attempted to stop him, the subject started to assault the employee.

Over the course of the last week, the Sioux Falls Police Department has responded to multiple reports of package thefts.  The packages were delivered to the victim’s homes and then left on the front porch. The Sioux Falls Police Department is asking people to follow these tips to protect you from being a victim.  1.  Ask a neighbor to pick up your packages for you if you know you’re not going to be home.  2.  Have items delivered to your work.  3. If a retailer allows it, select a specific time for delivery when you will be home.

On November 30, 2024, Sioux Falls Police responded to a commercial business near West 12th Street and South West Avenue for a robbery.  The investigation found that an unknown suspect entered the business and approached the employee.  The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employee.  The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction of travel.  2024-26876.
