The investigation found that two unknown suspects forced entry into the business. Once inside, the suspects broke into the registers and took cash. Over the course of the last several weeks, the Sioux Falls Police Department has taken numerous reports where people have fallen victim to online/phone scams.  These scams target people of all backgrounds, ages and income levels.  If you've only ever spoken to them online or are unsure of the legitimacy of a business, take some time to do a bit more research.  Remember, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

On April 23, 2024, Sioux Falls Police responded to the area of West 33rd Street and South West Ave for a robbery.  The investigation found that the victim was working in the area when he was approached by two males.  The two males punched the victim in the head and the face multiple times and then took his wallet.  The two males then fled in an unknown direction.
