On December 3, 2025, the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a business near the intersection of West 41st Street and South Louise Avenue for a robbery. The investigation found that an unknown suspect entered the store and walked up to the employee working. The suspect asked the employee to make change for him and then produced a knife. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money from the cash register and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 6’ tall with an average build. The suspect was wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans. SFPD 2025-25373.

On November 25th, 2025, the Sioux Falls Police Department received a burglary report near the intersection of West 2nd Street and North Western Ave. The investigation found that an unknown suspect forced their way into a locked storage unit by cutting the lock on the unit. Once inside, the suspect stole two shotguns. The 1st shotgun was a 12 gauge, Benelli SBE, black in color. The 2nd shotgun was a 20 gauge, single shot.
