On March 5, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near West 10th Street and South Summit Avenue for an armed robbery. The investigation found that an unknown male entered the store and approached the employee working. The male pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The male obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled from the scene. The male was described as an African American Male in his 20’s, approximately 6’2” and thin. The male was wearing all black clothing and an orange mask.

On March 1, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to several residences near West Madison Street and North Valley View Avenue for an aggravated assault. The investigation found that 3 separate occupied residences had been shot by unknown suspects. One of the residents reported hearing a vehicle driving before the shots were fired. No injuries were reported due to the shooting.

On February 20, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business near East Ronning Drive and North Sycamore Avenue for a robbery. The investigation found that the unknown suspect, described as a white male in his 20's that was wearing a red ski mask and flannel shirt, entered the business and approached the employee working. The unknown suspect produced a knife and demanded money from the register before leaving the business. A photo of the unknown suspect is attached.

The investigation found that an unknown suspect was able to make entry into the storage unit. Once inside the suspect stole numerous vintage toy semi-trucks. The value of the damage and the stolen toys is approximately $2,000.

The investigation found that an unknown suspect had forced his way into the business by breaking the glass door. Once inside the suspect stole numerous construction tools. The investigation found that an unknown suspect had forced his way into the house that was currently under construction. Once inside the suspect stole numerous construction tools. The value of the damage and the stolen tools is approximately $2,500.

The investigation found that an unknown suspect entered the business and approached the employee working. The suspect pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money. The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money, liquor, and cigarettes and then fled from the business.

On January 7, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to an apartment in the area of West 57th Street and South Solberg Avenue for a larceny. The investigation found that unknown suspects were able to make entry into the apartment while the resident was out of town. The suspects stole an extensive coin collection which was valued at approximately $20,000.

On January 3, 2022, Sioux Falls Police responded to a business in the area of West 41st Street and South Louise Avenue for a larceny. The investigation found that two suspects entered the business on January 2, 2022 and approached two cashiers that were working. One suspect was able to distract the cashiers while the other suspect accessed the registers and took an undetermined amount of cash before leaving the business. The suspects were described as 26-35 year old African-American males that were wearing blue jackets. CC#22-000172.
